The little school girl, now a teacher got a cure for her eyes, not possible by many an ophthalmologist she saw before ..she says !

That made her belief solid in me! 14 years later brought her mother to get operated by me. Post surgery felicitated me with flowers n sweets! Oh lord 🙏🙏🙏what else could be my reward better than this! Sometimes it is frustrating to sacrifice ” me time” “family time” , “stay lonely whole day in professional pursuits” without friends and entertainment! But incidences like this just heals every pain I get!

God bless my patient and our profession.

Immensely honoured, greatly humbled and a pleasure to be invited as Faculty speaker & panelist by Bangladesh Glaucoma Society for their 13th annual and 5th international glaucoma conference, held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center BICC , Dhaka on 15th & 16th Dec 2022.

Enjoyed high standard scientific exchange of knowledge between multiple countries, warm hospitality in food and fellowship, rich cultural display of music. Special thanks to Prof. Dr Nazrul Islam Sir for inviting me. It was great pleasure meeting Dr Ava Monir Ma’am , Dr Ashraful Huq Dr Ishtiaque Anwar , Dr Bipul Sarker Dr Liza Sharmini from Malayasia, Dr Virna from Indonesia in person and many more friends from Bangladesh.
